Receiving and checking dangerous goods
We discuss the dangerous goods receiving manager, the dangerous goods declaration (DGD), labelling requirements of the received goods, loading/offloading risk assessment forms (plus examples), and general requirements for the receipt and dispatch of dangerous goods.
Safe warehousing operations
We explain the off-loading operation, use of fork-lift trucks for handling dangerous goods, separation and segregation, operating procedures, site rules, product-specific technology and dealing with leakage or spillage.

Assessment methods
We conduct a formative theoretical assessment at the beginning of the course to gauge the learner’s initial understanding (novices only). At the end of the training, a summative theoretical and practical application assessment is conducted, to find if the learner is competent; if not, additional developmental areas are identified and suggested.
