HRETD offers a certificate outsourcing service to companies that are not permitted to issue their own certificates. We have put together this guide to show clients what is meant by the term certification outsourcing.
Issuing of own certificates
In order for a company to issue its own certificates, it must meet the following accreditation criteria:
Employ a skills development practitioner who holds a valid accreditation/accreditation number with the relevant SETA;
Be in possession of an accredited training package that is approved by the relevant SETA;
Be accredited by the relevant SETA as an accredited training provider, with a training provider accreditation number.
In summary of the above, the skills development practitioner is accredited to give training on the relevant accredited training material under the auspices of the company which is an accredited training provider.
HRETD certification outsourcing
HRETD can issue your certificates on your behalf, provided the first two criteria above are met, namely that your company already has a skills development practitioner who is accredited to give training on training material that has already been submitted to the relevant SETA for accreditation, and approved.
Not sure whether your company meets the criteria for the issuing of own certificates or certificate outsourcing? Feel free to contact our skills development advisor for advice.
We also offer additional options with this service, namely laminating of certificates for durability at R5.00 each, attaching clips to licence cards at R5.00 each, and overnight and door-to-door expedited certificate package delivery.
